Masters Degree

For the last 18 months I have been working on my Masters in School Administration online with Lamar University. Due to testing dates, schedules, etc. I had to go to Beaumont and take my comprehensive exam at Lamar University. I passed!!! So, I officially have a Masters in School Administration, now on to the state principal exam. After my exam, I was able to head to Houston and visit Abby, Tonia, Buster and Lauren--- all brief visits, but so GREAT to see them! Elisa, Bus and Lauren's daughter picked out a cake to celebrate passing my exam, it was so sweet!

Sorry for the delay in posts! I seemed to have lost my camera charger in my move. The remodeling is done, and I am MOVED IN!!!
I LOVE my new HOUSE!

Summer is busy, but I would not have it any other way! I head to camp tomorrow, Houston after that for my Comprehensive Masters Exam, then Phoenix to visit for Kendall's birthday! :) Hope everyone is enjoying summer and the HEAT!

:) Take care!

Update

I thought I would post a little update on me.

It is Spring Break-- so I am actually awake at 10:45pm on a Sunday night! I am looking forward to a relaxing week this week.

I am currently in one of my last graduate classes. I will be finished with all classes begining of June. I have a few certification classes (2 weeks in June) to take, a comprehensive exam, and principal certification exam-- then I will be finished with graduate school AGAIN! My plan right now, is to not go back to school again!

I am also looking at houses right now. I have made an offer on a house-- and I am waiting to see if they accept. If not, I will keep looking for houses.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! And Happy Spring BREAK!!

Rice Cereal

These pictures are a few weeks old. Tylee is now eating or trying out various baby food items--these are from the first time I fed her rice cereal. I guess I thought if I opened my mouth, she would too!

Olpe. KS Chicken House

My family tends to have a "tradition" I guess of visiting the Chicken House in Olpe, KS. Olpe, KS population of 507 is where my grandfather grew up. So, when we visit Olpe, we are certain to run into people we know, or are related to. Since we were in KS this past week, we had to visit the Chicken House before we left. Here are a few pics!

Nana Jean

My grandmother passed away on Sunday Feb. 8th. I spent the week in Kansas with my family. My grandmother was a fabulous cook! She was always cooking something wonderful for our family to enjoy! My sisters and I laugh at recipes we have from my Nana Jean b/c she wrote down the recipes how she cooks them. A "pinch" of this a
"small" package of that and a "$0.25 package" of that. Needless to say, none of us have mastered her art of cooking! :) My sisters and I have 4 cousins--- and we all have grown up in different states-- visiting our grandmother at different times. It was so neat to be there with all my cousins and get to visit with them as well. We will all miss our grandmother--- but we all know she is really happy to join Papa D and Uncle Dave.

Again

I decided to walk in the 3 Day again! I know I might be crazy! But the experience is life changing! It is amazing, and all the money I raise goes directly to Breast Cancer Research. So---- check out my 3 day website:
